Alex Weegen holds a Master of Forest Conservation from the University of Toronto, is a Registered Professional Forester with the Ontario Professional Foresters Association, as well as an ISA Certified Arborist, ISA Qualified Tree Risk Assessor, Ontario Certified Tree Marker, and Managed Forest Plan Approver for the Managed Forest Tax Incentive Program.
Alex has been working in the field of forestry and arboriculture for over a decade with experience in non-profit, government, and private sectors. Alex has volunteered their time in mentorship programs, the Forests Canada 2024 Conference Advisory Committee, Forestry in the Classroom, and the Ontario Envirothon.
