2026 Spring Webinar Series
Improving young tree establishment rates with easy, available tools
What’s it about?
Urban planting sites present numerous challenges, and municipal foresters often face constraints related to time, budget, and long-term maintenance. As a result, not every tree can be expected to survive in all planting situations. In this webinar, Rhoda will outline practical, readily available tools and strategies to improve tree establishment, with an emphasis on informed species and stock selection, as well as the use of locally-available materials to enhance soil conditions at planting sites.
