Webinar: Empowering Best Practices in Municipal Urban Forestry

Join us for the Ontario Urban Forest Council’s upcoming webinar, the second installment in our complimentary series aimed at cultivating innovation and collaboration within the urban forestry domain. Scheduled for June 6th at 11 a.m., this 1 hour event features  two distinguished speakers: Miles Peart, Urban Forestry Manager at the City of Vaughan, will offer an in-depth look at Vaughan’s recently implemented Urban Forest Management Plan. Additionally, representatives from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) will shed light on the GCCC initiative, outlining plans to support over 500 projects through tree planting and strategic funding streams. Their ambitious goal? To support you in planting 1.2 million trees across the nation by March 2031.
