Shona Williams is a recent graduate of Carleton University with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Shona completed her BA with a concentration in conservation, quickly discovering her passion for studying the ways in which people interact with their environment and vice versa. She is currently completing her masters in international forestry at the University of British Columbia where she completed research regarding the Ontario Green Belt. Shona is interested in the complex ways in which the urban environment are affected by governmental decisions. She aspires to one day work in policy, bringing her passion for interdisciplinary approaches to complex environmental issues.
